Position: Consultant and Business Development Officer

PADECO Co., Ltd of Japan is seeking a full-time permanent staff for both Business Development and Consulting Assignments to work in our Tokyo, Japan Office. The candidate should be a specialist in sector(s) related to transport, environment, climate change, energy.

Roles & Responsibilities

·         Assist and lead in proposal development activities including technical writing and team-building, mainly for projects under international development agencies;

·         Engage in business development activities including networking and building relationships with partners and clients, and gathering business intelligence;

·         Lead in management, coordination, back-stopping of projects in all sectors undertaken by PADECO;

·         Maintain budget control over on-going projects;

·         Join consultant teams for projects in various countries

Qualifications and Attributes

·         Bachelors Degree in relevant subject; Masters degree an advantage;

·         Three to ten years work experience with some related to developing countries;

·         Experience with international development agencies, such as ADB, WB, EU is preferred;

·         High level of report writing and technical skill is essential;

·         Strong business acumen desirable;

·         Second language (Spanish, French, Japanese) an advantage, but not essential
