Job Description
We are looking for a European team leader (full-time position, 24 person-months) and short-term experts for a tendered project in Turkey focusing on integrated pollution prevention and control.
The overall objective is to achieve the establishment of the administrative, legal and technical structures required for the implementation of the integrated environmental permitting of IPPC installations.
The following services are to be provided:
− Development of communication among stakeholders, using IT tools;
− Regulatory impact assessment of the implementation of IPPC;
− Establishment of an inventory of IPPC installations in Turkey;
− Training of Turkish IPPC experts.
Qualifications:
− Masters degree (or equivalent) in environmental engineering, laws, administration, or other relevant disciplines;
− A minimum of ten years of professional experience in environmental issues, in particular regarding integrated pollution prevention and control;
− At least five years of professional experience in the field of consulting services provided to government agencies on environmental legislation;
− Sound experience in institutional capacity building and training, especially with regard to training needs analyses and training of trainers;
− Profound knowledge regarding the development of communication by using IT tools and/or the establishment of an inventory database of installations;
− Experience with EU projects, preferably as a team leader as well as strong communication, networking, organization and report writing skills will be an advantage.
