Primary Responsibility

Work with all facets of the business and have cross functional responsibilities for IT and Management, as well as for external partners, in making sure that the information technology infrastructure and digital property is fully operational & secure, and is geared to handle and assimilate future technological developments and business requirements

-       Ensure that the technology infrastructure of the organization is fully operational

-       Ensure that the technology infrastructure development is timely and in synchronization with business requirements, and in consonance with technology advancement

-       Ensure high quality of technology infrastructure at low cost

-       Lead the technology development

-       Lead a team for IT, Testing and Documentation

-       Liaise with IT vendors for technology development

-       Liaise with the New Business and Operations & Process teams at the Pilot stage for a seamless process handover

-       Liaise with the Operations & Process team to ensure smooth running of the Coverage & Marketing team

-       Maintain  the IT framework policy and safeguards of the organization

-       Set up the IT guidelines and operational parameters for the entire IT infrastructure which involves protection of intellectual property, computers, peripheral devices, telecommunications, servers, internet and all data centers

-       Ensure that the technology standards of the company will be able to provide its technical requirements, as the primary decision maker

-       Ensure that all technology in the business is functioning for optimal workforce productivity

-       Allocate specific roles to each member of the team for both hardware and software subdivides

-       Liaise with Institutional Capacity Building team for policy formation, as per requirement, for function area

-       Identify improvement opportunities

-       Liaise with other enabling functions for a smooth functioning of the organization

-       Help in preparing required presentations for leadership review

-       Ensure that the Function’s vision is synchronized with the organization vision

-     Ability to use technology as a tool to achieve business goals

-       High level of integrity

-       Analytical expertise in understanding numbers, complex issues and their consequences

-       Proactive and responsive to urgent needs of the organization

-       Process, Result & Quality focus

-       Ability to work under pressure without compromising on quality of processes and procedural requirements

Qualification & Experience

-       Data Integrity

-       Post Graduation in IT

-       Expertise in Oracle, RDBMS and web based technologies. Certification desired.

-       Minimum 12 years of overall experience

-       Minimum 3 years of experience in a Project Manager role handling large projects

-       Experience in IT development in the financial services sector is essential

-       Experience in IT development in areas related to banking, financial inclusion, mobile banking, micro payments shall be a definite added advantage

-       Must be proficient in handling both IT and functional teams
