ActionAid India is a member of ActionAid International working in India since 1972. Its engagement is with communities, organizations and movements of excluded and poor people to eradicate poverty and ensure justice. Its operations are spread over 12 Regional Offices across 24 States and 1 Union Territory.
ActionAid India wishes to recruit its Director (Fundraising).
Responsibilities of Director (Fundraising)
• Develop appropriate cause related fundraising campaigns & raise funds as per agreed targets;
• Develop an effective communication strategy for retaining existing donors and enrolling new donors;
• Analyze, implement & monitor new fundraising concepts and products through strategic market research;
• Lead the efforts on Corporate Partnerships and High Networth Individuals.
• Plan and execute appropriate investment decisions.
• Undertake monitoring & evaluation of fundraising activities & achievements related to agreed targets & ratios;
• Build and lead an effective, result oriented fundraising team;
• Keep the SMT, Board members and other relevant stakeholders informed of progress in fundraising efforts, fund utilization and ROI;

The ideal candidate should:
• be a post-graduate.
• have minimum 10 years relevant experience of which atleast 5 years at the senior management level in fundraising or consumer marketing or advertising.
• have strong passion and commitment to work with the poor and marginalized.
• possess strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and administrative skills.
Work experience in not-for-profit sector will be an added advantage.
