RESULTS MANAGEMENT ANALYST (CONSULTANT)

CORPORATE PLANNING DIVISION

FINANCE AND CORPORATE PLANNING DEPARTMENT 

 

The Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) is seeking to recruit an exceptional and dynamic individual from its member countries to fill the position of Results Management Analyst (Consultant) to work in the Corporate Planning Division of its Finance and Corporate Planning Department at its Headquarters in Barbados.   The appointment will be on a consultancy basis for a two-year period in the first instance.

CDB is a multilateral Development Bank that collaborates with its Borrowing Member Countries (BMCs) to promote sustainable social and economic development, economic cooperation and regional integration.

The Role

The Results Management Analyst Consultant (RMA) will report to the Deputy Director, Corporate Planning Division and will provide leadership and expert guidance for the implementation of CDB's approach to Managing for Development Results (MfDR).   The RMA will assist CDB to strengthen its systems for articulating, measuring, monitoring and reporting on CDB’s contributions to development results and effectiveness that meet both stakeholder and internal management and accountability requirements.

The RMA must be capable of working as a participant and a coordinator of multi-disciplinary teams in reviewing and developing policies, strategies and plans for consideration by CDB’s management and Board of Directors.   He/she must be able to lead others in solving complex problems using technical knowledge and skills in relation to MfDR, and to assist internal and external clients to understand and apply MfDR techniques to improve performance. 

The Candidate

Eligible candidates should have an Advanced University degree in Business, Economics, Public Administration, International Development or other related field. 

Candidates should have a minimum of seven years professional experience in development planning, strategic planning, policy analysis, results-based management and MfDR-related areas.

  • The successful candidate must be willing to live and work in Barbados.
