The Population Foundation of India (PFI) is a national
non-government organization implementing programmes on reproductive and
child health, family planning, adolescent health, HIV/AIDS and other
population issues with a gender sensitive and rights based approach.
PFI's vision is to 'promote, foster and inspire
sustainable and balanced human development with a focus on population
stabilization through an enabling environment for an ascending quality of
with equity and justice'. PFI strives to realize its vision by promoting
and formulating gender sensitive and rights based population and
development policies, strategies and programmes.

implementation strategy includes service delivery, Capacity Building and
Technical Assistance, Research & Documentation and Advocacy &

About the Project
The
Population
Foundation of India is implementing the HIV/AIDS Care and Support Program
in 15 states of India, funded by the Global Fund (GF).
This
program complements the national program and contributes to the overall
goal of NACP. This is an ongoing program since April 2005.
The overall goal of the program is to improve the survival
and quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS.
PFI wishes
to recruit a ‘SIE Associate’ for Global Fund Project.
Main purpose of the Job
The SIE
Associate will provide support for effective implementation of monitoring
and evaluation system of the Global Fund program managed by PFI.
Key
Responsibilities
-
Support in
developing and implementing monitoring & evaluation system to capture
targets vs achievements
·
Assist in development of Management Information Systems
(MIS);
·
Provide capacity building to regional/State units of Sub
Recipients and PFI;
·
Implementation of MIS/CMIS at all levels of the program.
-
Assist in review of partner’s progress to ensure timely
completion of program related activities
·
Review the Quarterly Progress Reports submitted by Sub
Recipients and provide feedback;
·
Ensure timely, error free and complete reports on a
monthly basis from Sub Recipients;
·
Compiling data from Sub Recipients and check the data
quality of periodic reports;
·
Conduct monitoring visits to Service Delivery Points to
identify good practices and weaknesses.
3.
Support in
program planning and improving program performance
·
Conduct periodical data analysis of MIS and identify key
issues that affect program performance;
·
Coordinate with teams of program management and finance
and grants management for conducting the program activities;
·
Coordinate with other agencies and consultants for
collaborative monitoring and evaluation of the project.
4.
Support in
conducting Special Studies/Operations Research/Evaluation study/Data
Quality Audit
·
Assist in development of tools for the studies
·
Coordinate and oversee the delivery of the activities of
the external implementing agency
Required
Qualification, Experience and Skills
-
Post graduate in Statistics / Bio-Statistics / Social
Science/Population Sciences or any related field;
-
At least three years experiences in Monitoring and
Evaluation of health programs;
-
Good knowledge of quantitative & qualitative data
analysis
-
Working
experience in computer applications such as SPSS/SAS
-
Strong
interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a high
performing team;
-
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi;
Compensation
The
Salary will be commensurate with the experience and qualification of
selected candidate
