We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Development Professional to lead World Vision UK’s geographical and development programmes strategy, overseeing relations with regional and national offices and funding for our development programmes to ensure accountability and positive impact on children’s well being.

To bring the leadership and expertise we are seeking for this work, you are likely to:
• Have leadership experience that includes coaching staff to high levels of performance & perform effectively as a team & engaging in effective cross-cultural & cross-functional working to achieve shared goals.
• Have a strong understanding of Development theory, policy and practice, with a good knowledge of relief, advocacy and fundraising.
• Be an experienced influencer, networker and spokesperson in different fora (global policy forums, DFID, field offices, technical programmatic community of practice)
• Have proven experience of developing, implementing and monitoring strategic and operational plans and handling complex operations
• Have strong financial management skills in budgeting and reporting
• Have a desire to apply and develop your Christian faith and your professional skills
