Bring our Child Sponsorship Experience to life
Our mission is to inspire the UK to take action that transforms the lives of the world’s poorest children. Our field based staff are changing children’s lives every day and your challenge will be to bring those stories of hope and transformation to life through the letters and pictures the children in our projects send to their sponsors in the UK.

Working with our marketing agency you’ll develop a clear understanding of what really makes our sponsors feel connected to their sponsored child and their community. Using this vision you’ll develop inspiring and effective strategies and resources to build the capacity of our field based staff. This will include travelling to many of our overseas projects to carry out hands on training. Your aim is to continually improve the communications sent from our projects, constantly delighting our supporters. How will you know you’ve been successful? They’ll be telling their friends of their first hand experience of changing children’s lives.

You’ll need strong analytical and creative skills combined with an ability to encourage others so that every child’s experience of writing to their sponsor is exciting and enriching. To succeed you’ll know how to get the best out of children and have the ability to work confidently and collaboratively cross culturally, both in person and remotely. The role involves extensive overseas travel to our projects, which are, by their very nature, in remote areas and challenging environments.

You are likely to:
• Have a teaching qualification and know how to engage school age children
• Have excellent communication and influencing skills
• Enjoy bring creative ideas to life and achieving success through others
• Experience in running inspiring training events
• Have evidence of success in leading projects and achieving change remotely
• Have a passion for applying your professional skills to help children living in poverty.

All applicants must be willing to work within a Christian framework and be sensitive to its various expressions across cultures and denominations. If you’re passionate about our work as a Christian relief, development and advocacy charity, focused on transforming the lives of the world’s poorest children, their families and communities, we’d love to hear from you!
