Save the Children seeks an Internal Audit Manager to work with the Country Offices Senior Management Teams to identify risks that may hinder the achievement of the Offices objectives

Responsibilities:
The Audit Manager assesses adequacy of internal controls to reduce identified risks; and recommends internal controls to sufficiently reduce associated risks. Under the supervision of the Associate Vice President, Global Audit & Risk Services, the incumbent is responsible for general planning and implementation of the assigned work (audits, financial management reviews or special projects), and reporting results, and where necessary, investigate the impact of fraud.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in business-related field, CPA or CA license, CIA certification or similar professional designation preferred. At least five years’ work experience in business-related field (e.g. audit, accounting, financial analysis, information systems) with at least two years of internal or external audit experience. International work experience, preferably in developing countries, with a NGO or grant related entity. The successful candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish (preferred); high personal work standards; good presentation skills; sound knowledge of internal control system and risk management and proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with use of Audit software. Travel up to 50% time, to developing countries, is required.
