JOB TITLE: Program Manager

Location; Delhi – Safdarjung Enclave

Position Objective:
To lead a team of project coordinators who coordinate SHARP’s projects all across the country

Job Profile:
• Administrative and coordinating job .
• To oversee and guide the coordinators across the country.
• Contributes to project management and in identifying problems and troubleshoot process with supervision.
• Ensuring co-ordination with key partners (state govt, corporate houses, funding agencies, international agencies etc.) and other function in SHARP to achieve the agreed objectives on time and within budgets.
• Initiates the dialogue with new international and national funding agencies.
• Proper documentation of the work done by SHARP.
• Writing grant making proposals for new projects.
• Close networking with national (e.g NRHM, ICMR, Department of woman and child development, Health Ministry) /international (UNICEF, UNESCO, GAIN) agencies or institutions, who may also be opinion formers in the area of school health, to be updated on latest policies and to garner their support when required.
• Maintain a timeline of projects
• Use creativity and out-of-the-box thinking to promote school health
• Act as a SHARP spokesperson
• Work with the media department to generate media coverage of our efforts
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Director

Qualifications:
• should be preferably MPH/ MSW/ MBA/ MD (Social Preventive medicine). Well versed in proposal writing and liasoning with funding agencies
• Minimum experience of 3 yrs in a developmental sector.
• Fluency in both spoken and written Hindi and English (other languages a plus)
• Computer proficiency
• Outgoing and personable manner
• Must be an excellent communicator who can deal effectively with the public and co-workers both independently and as a member of a team
