Administrative Assistant
International Water Management Institute (IWMI)

ICRISAT seeks applications for the position of Administrative Associate for International Water Management Institute, New Delhi. The position will be based in IWMI’s Delhi Office, NASC Complex, Pusa Campus, New Delhi.

About IWMI: International Water Management Institute (IWMI), is a nonprofit scientific research organization, one of the 15 International Institutes under the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), with its world headquarter at Colombo, Sri Lanka.  IWMI is engaged in various aspects of water and land management and has its ofices located in New Delhi and Hyderabad.

Responsibilities:
Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Regional Program Leader of CCAFS program at IWMI’s New Delhi Office. This includes managing travel of the staff, managing correspondence, assistance in preparation of various reports and proceedings; managing office documents/files; managing databases, word-processing, and taking dictations for word-processing, and assistance in organizing meetings/workshops.

Requirements:
Graduate with 1-2 years’ experience. The candidate should be thoroughly conversant with MS Office package, internet usage, short-hand, and database management. Excellent verbal and written English and regional language are necessary. Ability to handle routine office matters, petty cash and correspondence. 

General:  The position is initially for two years and can be renewed further based on the performance of the candidate and funding availability. An attractive compensation is offered for the right candidate.
