Fixed term contract to end of 2012, including 8 – 12 month secondment to
Nairobi, Kenya
Salary £33,280 per annum plus excellent benefits

reproductive health and rights for all. We are a worldwide movement of national
organisations working with and for communities and individuals.
If you are seeking the opportunity to develop cutting-edge initiatives and work
on secondment in Africa, read on.
You will help develop and implement IPPF’s medical abortion strategy, and
provide focused strategic technical assistance on broader abortion-related
issues for the IPPF Africa Region.
You have a strong track record working on abortion-related issues (particularly
medical abortion), ideally in a developing country setting, with an excellent
grasp of associated technical issues. You know how to provide focused technical
assistance and programme management. You have excellent written and verbal
communication, presentation and training skills with a postgraduate degree in
public health, social sciences or equivalent standard of education.
