IMaCS is a consulting firm based in India with more than a decade’s experience in executing consulting assignments across diverse sectors in India and overseas. We invite applications from qualified candidates for the following position:

Position for Finance and Accounts 

The person should have advanced qualifications in finance and accounting, preferably a qualified Chartered Accountant having 7 years of post qualification experience in service industry. Major Duties will involve: 

1.      Assisting state project teams in executing financial management processes

2.      Handling cash flows and managing funds (receipt and disbursal)

3.      Closing books of accounts and other financial statements independently and in accordance with accounting standard.

4.      Well versed with statutory and compliance matters especially Income Tax and Service Tax.

5.      Preparing TDS returns, issuing certificates, handling scrutiny cases etc

6.      Candidate having prior experience and knowledge of ESIC, PF and other labour laws would be preferred.

7.      Implementing appropriate financial management systems and internal control mechanisms as per the ToR and financial guidelines issued by client.

8.      Should be proficient in liasioning with clients, banks and other stake holders

9.      The candidate should possess sound computer skills and be proficient on accounting packages like Tally 9.

10.  Capable of managing a team of accounting professionals

11.  Preparing timely and accurate MIS and other financial information pertaining to funds disbursements, receipts and other financial transactions.

 Additional skills: Besides good written and oral communication skills, ideal candidates should posses good analytical skills, integrity and leadership qualities, besides ability to work without supervision.
