 Program Officer

The Eurasia Foundation (EF) an int'l non-profit org supporting the development of civil society and private enterprise in the Eurasia region seeks a Program Officer. Duties include but not limited to editorial, partnership, and programmatic decisions on the Social Entrepreneurship website. The individual thinks strategically about the overall goals and objectives and works to make sure that project teams focus on achieving the objectives of these projects.
Education: Master’s in economic development, business, education, area studies, political science, public health or international relations. Applicants must be knowledgeable about social entrepreneurship literature and principles.
Experience: worked in teams environment and have experience in a leadership role; Applicants must have lived and/or worked in Iran and have experience writing for online media in Persian; working knowledge of website project implementation and maintenance required.
Skills: Fluency in Persian and good English writing and speaking skills required. Applicants must be web savvy, have knowledge of website optimization strategies, and the Persian cypbersphere.
