Call for Resumes - India Forestry/Climate Change

Clients include international development agencies, international lending institutions, private corporations and philanthropies, and host-country governments.

DAI seeks candidates for an anticipated forestry and climate change adaptation program in India. The program aims to increase to help improve the sustainability of forests in order to mitigate GHG emissions through carbon sequestration by forests, and to assist individuals and communities to adapt to climate change.

*This position is for submission in an upcoming proposal and is contingent upon successful award of funding.

DAI is seeking candidates with the following areas of expertise:
• Environmental Policy
• Monitoring and Evaluation
• Carbon Finance Specialist
• Forestry Specialist
• Climate Change Adaptation Specialist
• GIS/Spatial Planning

Qualifications Required:
• Advanced degree in technical area related to natural science, environmental studies, forestry, ecology, agriculture, or other technical area mentioned above preferred.
• Minimum of five-seven years in related field of interest.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills in English. Fluency in Hindi preferred.
