The Role
This is a rare opportunity for a dynamic, motivated individual to establish a Brooke presence in West Africa. You will oversee the establishment of a coordination office in Dakar, be key to the registration of the Brooke in Senegal in addition to providing support to our existing, and establishing new, partnerships within the region. You will work closely with staff in our UK office as you represent the Brooke, its mission and values to key persons in government and NGOs within West Africa.
Criteria
You will need to have excellent communication skills in both French and English and an ability to communicate succinctly with a wide range of individuals from government representatives and potential partners to beneficiaries at grassroots level. Ideally you will have experience of setting up a country office and acting as an overseas representative in addition to having an interest in animal welfare. You will be experienced in planning, implementing and monitoring projects with proven financial skills. Your persistence, diplomacy and motivation will aid you greatly in this role.
