Bodh Shiksha Samiti
Bodh Shiksha Samiti, as a non-government organization, has been working in the area of school education since 1987. Some important components of the organization include-quality improvement in the teaching learning practices through child-centered pedagogy and approaches; establishing common community schools, intervention in Govt. schools, policy advocacy capacity development programs with the other non-govt. Organization and providing support to Govt. in educational initiatives. We are reaching out to more than 15000 children in our project located in Jaipur City (Urban education program, referred as UEP) Alwar district- Umrain & Thanagazi Blocks(Rural education program referred as REP).

Positions:


1. Program Coordinator (1 UEP, 1 REP) - Supported by Michael & Susan Dell Foundation & Goodearth Education Foundation
• Manage and coordinate with project team on aspects of programme designing, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation & reporting under guidance of Secretary, Organization; will be responsible for meeting programme targets and goals.
• Plan, organize and participate in programme activities (training; evaluations; workshops; meetings and other)
• Maintain programme updates and manage communications with partners and govt. functionaries; maintain clear channels of communications for smooth implementation of programme activities and regular monitoring.
• Initiate and develop resource mobilization and fund raising opportunities along with conceptualizing, designing and operational zing new projects.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
Qualification and experience
• Qualified professional preferably with a masters degree in Social Work / Management / Education with equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience in project coordination, Monitoring & Evaluation in development sector.
• Strong program management skills including strategic planning and work plan development with a strong focus on maintaining quality across project milestones.
• Experience in grant design, proposal writing, Monitoring & Evaluation, research, report writing and documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi language.
• Working knowledge of computer skills.
• Ability to undertake regular travel required including out station travel.

2. Coordinator - Pre School Education (1 REP) supported by Oxfam India
• Would be responsible for coordinating the pre-school education component of the program.
• Would ensure proper planning, implementation, capacity building of the team, curriculum and Teaching Learning Material (TLM) development for pre-school education.
• Would carry out research and documentation within the program.
Qualification and experience
• PG in child developement with good academic record.
• Minimum 2 years experience in working with pre-school as children.
• Experience in training and capacity building, pre-school teachers, developing and implementing innovative classroom management practices and teaching learning material for pre-school education is desirable.

3. Associate Senior Academic Support Fellow (10) supported by Goodearth Education Foundation
One each for Hindi, English, Science, Math, Social Science, Music, Fine arts, Dramatics, Computer Education and Pre-school Education.
• Would work as an expert in the 'Central Research and Recourse Centre (CRRC)' of the subject and would lead the process of curriculum development, tools and techniques and the ensuring implementation of the same.
• Would be responsible for subject based research, academic work & conceptualization of concept tools, methods and assessment techniques.
• Would be responsible for contemplating on the subject Pedagogy & would lead implementation of the same.
Qualification and experience
• PG with good academic record. Experience of secondary classes teaching is desirable. Rich working experience & sound knowledge of subject will be preferred.

4. Coordinator Govt. Liaising (1 REP) Supported by Oxfam India
• Would be responsible for liaising with the Govt. officials associated with the Govt. intervention programs.
• Would be responsible for coordinating different the dimension of work with the Govt. as per the project.
Qualification and experience
• PG with minimum 3 years work experience of Govt. Liaising.

5. Fellow - Learning & Assessment (1) Supported by Oxfam India
• Would be responsible for conceptualization of tools & formats regarding learning and assessment.
• Would be responsible for contemplating on learning and assessment, processes for evolving appropriate techniques and the implementation.
Qualification and experience
• PG with minimum 2-3 years experience in student's learning assessment & evolution system in schools is desirable.

6. Associate Senior Fellow - Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidhyalaya KGBV (Female, 1 REP) Supported by Oxfam India
• Would be responsible for coordinating Bodh's intervention in KGBV.
• Would ensure proper implementation, planning, academic support, monitoring & documentation of the program.
Qualification and skills
• PG with good academic record. Experience in girls education programs and program coordination is desirable.
• Should be confident and comfortable for travel (within the program) and have interest in adolescent issues, deprived communities pertaining education.

Remuneration
Consolidated Salary for post no. 1 is Rs. 35,000 (UEP), Rs. 40,000 (REP) for the post no. 2 & 3 - Rs. 20,000, for the post no. 4 - Rs. 18,000, for the post no. 5 - Rs. 25,000, and for the post no. 6 - Rs. 15,000.

Maximum Age:
45 years for all posts.

Proficiency in English, Hindi language & Computer is must consolidated monthly salary has been indicated for all posts.
