AED, an international NGO based in Washington DC and with field office in more then 55 countries is seeking qualified Indian nationals to work in the New Delhi and Lucknow offices for a USAID-funded project in Institutional Strengthening and Behavior Change Communication (BCC). The project is funded for three years with a possibility for extension. All positions required excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to work as part of a team. Experience working in USAID-funded projects is highly desirable as well as working in public health. Computer skills and standard office software expertise must to demonstrated. Deputy Chief of Party for Administration and Finance

A senior Indian professional to provide administrative leadership and overall financial management for a large USAID-funded project . The Deputy will have direct oversight of all human resource management and personnel issues, procurement and project resources, will administer funds in full compliance with donor regulations and procedures and ensure that systems are in place to implement, track and report on human resource, administration and financial management policies and operations at all levels. The Deputy will be responsible for all financial and administrative reports to AED for the project, including aggregating the Lucknow office reports. A master’s degree in business administration, management, finance or related field is highly desired. Certification as a Chartered Accountant is required. At least 10 years’ related work experience in a senior capacity is required. Knowledge of relevant business and financial/accounting computer software, including quick books, is required. Knowledge of and experience with USAID contracting and financial guidelines and reporting requirements are essential. Grants management experience is highly desirable.
