AED is seeking a Senior Chief of Party for The USAID-funded Youth Education Development Initiative (YEDI). YEDI addresses the challenges of educating out-of-school youth in Morocco to equip them for effective economic and social integration. AED's approach to YEDI is not only to contribute to the development of skills, behaviors and relations that will serve youth in finding employment and in prospering in the workforce, but also to strengthen the delivery of education and training of Youth Serving Organizations (YSOs) to equip them for employment.
The Senior Chief of Party (SCOP) will provide overall project leadership and direction and ensure the timely achievement of proposed objectives. The SCOP oversees day to day strategic planning and will ensure close coordination with program partners in the Government of Morocco, the private sector, NGOs and YSOs.
Qualifications:
Project design and significant management experience essential; Demonstrated ability to proactively identify creative opportunities and needs and respond in a timely fashion; Project and program evaluation; Facilitation, negotiation and conflict management; Knowledge of USAID strategies, policies and procedures; Experience in consulting with foreign governments, senior-level governmental and non-governmental contacts is desirable; Knowledge and experience with safety and security measures.
