strategies for companies, public sector institutions and international organisations. Through our activities, we promote eco-efficiency,
innovation and corporate social responsibility.

We are looking to fill the following position in our water division as soon as possible:

Project manager, focus on water (full time)
Social scientist, economist, or environmental engineer

Focus and Scope

adelphi is looking for a project manager in the water and waste water division. The position is open immediately and initially available for a two-year period. Our activities in the water sector include the issues of water resources management, technology transfer, water conflicts, as well as institutional and regulatory aspects of European and global water policy.

Your Tasks

§  Design and implementation of research and consulting projects in the water sector

§  Project planning and coordination

§  Participation in the planning and implementation of dialogue events, workshops, trainings, and delegation visits

§  Substantive project responsibility and development of a variety of reports

§  Presentation of project results to clients and third parties

§  Independent project acquisition

§  Further development of the issues, especially with regard to climate change adaptation

Your Qualifications

§  A degree in social sciences, engineering or economics

§  Experience in the implementation of water projects in several of the above-mentioned topics

§  Experience with international development work, particularly with German implementing organizations

§  Fluent in spoken and written English and German, other languages – French especially – desirable

§  Team player, flexible and reliable
