Consultants Required for International Work
Adam Smith International (ASI) is a leading government advisory
consultancy that works throughout the world to help countries reform
their economies and government institutions. We are at the cutting edge
of the fields in which we work and have an outstanding reputation for
delivering results.
We are looking to expand our network of infrastructure consultants and
invite interested individuals to register their CVs with ASI. In
particular, we are keen to hear from consultants with and at least 10
years’ consulting expertise and, ideally, international development
experience in one or more of the following areas:
Electricity

Design
of power sector policy, strategy or regulation
·
Generation; transmission or distribution
·
Business
process reform, sector and business governance
Transport
·
Transport planning, economics or modelling in road, rail or public
transport
·
PPP,
with a focus on rail, highways or public transport
·
Aviation
or airport management
Urban
Development
·
Integrated development planning, including sustainable urban development
·
Institutional development of local government, incl. municipal finance
·
Housing
and integrated slum upgrading
·
Waste
management and treatment
Water
·
Water
sector planning, organization, financing and management
·
Legal
and institutional framework, including water sector reform
·
Water
supply, sanitation, hygiene and, sewage and waste water management
Consultants should have demonstrated ability to build productive
relationships with people from a wide range of professional and cultural
backgrounds, to work effectively in politically sensitive and physically
challenging environments, and ability to work well within a team
environment.
