Programme Manager – Maharashtra

To achieve excellence in its Maharashtra programme, ITC is looking for a dynamic and a highly motivated professional to spearhead, expand and deepen the natural resource management initiatives in the state.

Functional Area: Programme Management/ Natural Resource Management/ Leadership/ Training

Qualification:

• At least 5 years experience in the area of natural resource management, especially in watershed and/or agricultural development.  Experience in the area of animal husbandry practices will be an advantage
• A creative and broad-based approach to programme planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
• Influencing and negotiating skills, especially in dealing with NGOs and government officials
• Ability to manage and prioritise a large number of competing demands and operate to deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills in English, including computing skills
• Post Graduate in Rural Management, Rural Development, Agriculture, Forestry, Social Work from a reputed institution

Responsibilities

·      Provide strategic leadership to the Maharashtra team in terms of programme and resource management and development

·      Develop, implement and maintain robust systems and processes for project and financial management in order to improve operational efficiencies

·      Develop partner relationships and support our partners’ capacity and abilities in programme management

• Develop, implement and maintain a strong MIS system to capture key impacts
• Represent ITC in a variety of forums and maintain external relationships with the government, national & international NGOs, academic and research institutions
