ActionAid India is a National level development organization. In India we work in 24 States and 1 Union Territory through 12 Regional Offices, and are a strong member of the international federation of ActionAid International with presence in over 40 countries. The Rights based Country Strategy aims at deepening our understanding beyond legal entitlements and addressing questions of social, economic and ecological injustice suffered by the poor and marginalized communities. With a core staff of nearly 200, it works with nearly 100 NGO partners, and other social movements and peoples’ formations.

ActionAid India is looking for a dynamic leader as Director (Organizational Effectiveness) who would deliver expertise and solutions through OE practices which support increasing the performance, capability and effectiveness of individuals, leaders and teams. It is a consultative and leadership role vis-à-vis teams across programmes, policy, finance, fundraising, campaigns, communications and other functions/geographic areas to build positive work relationships, synergies, systems and team culture for organizational effectiveness. The role entails designing, guiding and supporting deepening of the organization culture processes including organization restructuring. Functionally and administratively the role holder will oversight HR, OD, Internal Audit follow-up, Information Technology, Administration and Legal functions.

Person profile: Overall 10 plus years of experience with minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field in senior management capacity. Ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of theory, principles, and practices of change management, talent management, organizational development, conflict resolution, people systems, strategic planning and budget administration. The candidate should be able to take up extensive travel as per needs.

The position reporting to the Executive Director will be based in New Delhi.
