Operation Eyesight Universal
Operation Eyesight has
more than 45 years experience in delivering effective eye care programs
to people in great need. We collaborate with experts from India, Canada
and around the world, and are a member of VISION 2020: The Right to
Sight, a global alliance led by the World Health Organization.
Today Operation Eyesight
supports programs in Asia and Africa, working directly with local
hospital partners to help communities that are threatened by blindness.

become self-reliant tomorrow and to provide quality eye care for
everyone, regardless of their ability to pay.
Operation Eyesight’s work
in India is guided by its country strategy and focuses on the following
thematic priorities:

These thematic priorities
represent core of Operation Eyesight’s programme in India which is being
implemented in 12 states in collaboration with not for profit
hospitals. Its partnerships and collaborations with government, technical
institutions and individuals form important components of the way the
organisation operates. An equal focus is also on capacity building,
research and advocacy in all the thematic areas to strengthen the
interventions in the field.
Operation Eyesight has its
India Country Office in Hyderabad. Its project offices are located in
Delhi and Hyderabad from which OE implements community based project
through its own teams.

Person Specification
The role of the Office
Manager – Operation Eyesight India Programme requires an experienced,
energetic and result orientated individual, with an impressive track
record of similar comparable experience within the NGO/ INGO sector. The
selected candidate will have significant management experience at mid
level in his/ her previous organisation.
·
Two to five years experience as Manager with main responsibility covering
all areas of financial management and/ or office administration in a
medium size organisation
·
Expertise and experience in developing office and programme budgets
·
Prior experience in conducting financial audits
·
A sound knowledge of the legislation, regulations and Acts relating to
voluntary sector
·
Proven expertise in application of financial software packages and good
IT skills
·
Post graduate qualification in Accountancy/ Commerce/ Management
·
A strong empathy with the cause
·
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
·
Robust decision making and excellent negotiation skills
·
Excellent man-management skills and interpersonal skills
·
Self motivated, self-starter
·
Willingness to travel
