Cardno Emerging Markets is the Implementation Service Provider (ISP) for the Papua New Guinea-Australia Law and Justice Partnership (PALJP). The Partnership provides flexible and responsive support that will assist the Government of PNG (GoPNG) to achieve measurable progress against its policies and strategies for law and justice reform.

We are currently seeking a Recruitment Development Practitioner to be based with the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary in their Port Moresby Headquarters. The successful applicant will have the following key skills and experience:

•5 or more years previous experience recruiting within a Public Service or Police environment

•Proven experience in a Recruitment Management or Advisory role in a challenging, complex and cross cultural environment

•Demonstrated experience in undertaking process and gap analysis and preparing documentation to support strategy proposals and options

•Demonstrated competence in the use of contemporary office software and programs

•Experience as a human resource and administrative trainer and in the development of training and information & awareness materials suited to a developing country context

•Well-developed interpersonal communication, coaching & mentoring skills with an ability to operate flexibly and effectively with limited resources

•Demonstrated experience in integrating and mainstreaming cross cutting and culturally sensitive issues into a working context and facilitating constructive dialogue
