Interim Haiti Recovery Commission (IHRC)

The mission of the Interim Haiti Recovery Commission (IHRC) is to seek the coordinated, effective and efficient planning and implementation of priorities, plans and projects in support of Haiti's recovery and development in the wake of the 12 January 2010 earthquake. The IHRC is seeking outstanding candidates for the following positions (the responsibilities mentioned are not exhaustive):
NGO Sector Liaison
* Manage NGO relationships and provide them with a one-stop communications service;
* Coordinate with IHRC Strategy and Projects experts to provide appropriate sectoral assistance and ensure bottlenecks experienced by NGOs are removed.
Private Sector Liaison
* Manage private sector relationships and provide private players with a one-stop communications service;
* Coordinate with IHRC Strategy and Projects experts to provide appropriate sectoral assistance and ensure bottlenecks experienced by the private sector are removed.
Chief Legal Officer
* Ensure the IHRC complies with international and Haitian legal requirements;
* Update all legal documentation required for IHRC operations;
* Manage all IHRC legal-related issues.
Chief Human Resources Officer
* Oversee and provide support in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counseling.
Chief Master Planning Officer
* Prioritize and sequence sector plans into a master plan that integrates cross sector activities where appropriate, as well as help coordinate the development of detailed and measureable milestones, outcomes and targets;
* Review sector plans against the master plan to identify gaps where recovery investment could be particularly catalytic, and opportunities for coordination across sectors.
