Responsible for setting
overall strategy and workplans

Responsible for overall
understanding on India work environment and policies related to
health and nutrition that may affect current or future programs
·
Responsible with the
State Program Reps to ensure that State level planning takes place in
a timely fashion
·
Development of new
programs – PCN process, budgeting
·
Responsible for
budgeting and maintenance of the various databases (Contracts and
donor)
·
Responsible for
implementation of their program in a timely efficient manner
·
Responsible for
supervising State Program Representatives and conducting periodic
field visits.
·
Responsible for
developing and ensuring monitoring of their programs and program
finances
·
Responsible for
modifying programs as needed
·
Responsible for
managing the work of the Program Officer, Program Assistant(s) and
State Representatives, including overseeing the development of their
work plans, training, PAR process and other human resource
requirements such as hiring from time to time
·
Responsible for the
financial planning and financial reporting
·
Responsible for
developing communications and advocacy plans for their work and work
with MII’s communications unit concerning preparation of press
releases, project brouchers/flyers and others communications material
related to their programs
·
Working with the
Technical Advisor to ensure the timely production of IEC, training,
and other technical elements associated with their programs and
overall responsibility for ensuring that they receive the inputs they
require for successful programming
·
Manages formative
research with advice and input of the Technical Advisor
·
Responsible for
ensuring roll up of data and overall responsibility for providing
inputs to various donor reports as required
·
