team of professionals includes programme, policy and finance staff. India
Country Programme is one of WaterAid’s
most established programmes in Asia with a total of 50 staff. WAI’s
programme focus in the coming five years will be promoting and
securing the rights and access to safe water, improved hygiene and
sanitation for many poor people through direct services and
millions more through our influencing work. This will include significant
inputs of research, documentation, advocacy, networking and supporting

Information Systems, Scrutinizing Partner Accounts, Overseeing Internal
Operations, Generating Management Reports, ensuring Compliance to
Organisational Policies and Statutory regulations.

collaboration with WaterAid’s Country Finance Team.
Essential requirements for
the post are Professional qualification or Master’s degree in
Commerce with 4 years experience, impressive experience in Accounting
Packages, independent handling of office accounts, and demonstrable
numerical skills. Desirable qualifications are experience of working
INGOs, and donor reporting.
This post is offered on a
4-year fixed-term contract normally renewable at the end of contract;
however it can also be renewed as we transit into an Indian entity.
