National Director: World Vision Bangladesh
World Vision International (www.wvi.org) seeks a National Director for our Bangladesh office, based in Dhaka. We are seeking a leader to help bring transformation, impact, sustainability and self-reliance to the communities we serve. Presently, World Vision Bangladesh operates 55 Area Development Programs (ADPs) located throughout 24 districts, serving over 120,000 sponsored children plus hundreds of thousands of their families members and neighbors. With over 1000 staff and a large, multi-million USD budget, this is one of World Vision's largest, most complex and challenging leadership assignments.
We are looking for a leader and manager with the following attributes:
Track record of significant and successful senior management and leadership experience in both international development and emergency relief; strong networking skills and coalition building skills; knowledge of financial management, audit and compliance of 30+ million USD budget; previous governance experience working with or serving on a board of directors of a large NGO or corporation; MBA, advanced degree or equivalent experience in management.
