Main tasks:
Financial management:
·
Assess
partner organisations’ financial record-keeping and internal control
systems.
·
Provide
specific technical support in areas including overall financial
management, internal control systems, budgeting, and grants
management.
·
Provide
support for preparation of partner organisations’ budgets.
·
Provide
day-to-day back up and support by email/phone to finance and other
staff of partner organizations.
·
Respond
to ad hoc requests from DCA programme staff and from partner
organizations in financial areas.
·
Assist
the Regional Finance Officer to modify and improve the DCA’s system
of financial reporting and control.
·
Work with
other members in the finance team and programme staff to design
budgets and reporting formats that reflect programmatic goals and
incorporate donor restrictions.
·
Prepare
and provide feedback on the financial reports prepared by the partner
organizations.
Procurement:
·
Provide
technical support in Procurement including preparation of Procurement
plan, Procurement procedure, Procurement Documentation for different
kind of funding.
·
Provide
day-to-day back up support by email/phone to staff of partner
organizations for all procurement related matters
·
To review
procurement files of the partner organisations and report / escalate
discrepancies to Regional Finance Officer.
As Regional Office Team member:
·
Contribute positively to team building with colleagues in DCA
Regional Office and partake in the common responsibility in
development of DCA South Asia office and programmes as well as the
DCA global
·
Contribute to organising/coordinating and participate actively in
staff meetings, partner meetings and DCA meetings
Professional Back ground
·
Educational background at least B.Com/ Inter CA.
·
Working with Tally package for a period of minimum two years.
·
Advanced user skill in MS- Excel.
·
Minimum five years working experience in financial management
capacity building of local NGOs in similar capacity with national/
international NGO with similar responsibilities and field work.
·
Working experience from donor agency is a great advantage
·
Procurement experience is an advantage.

Terms and Conditions
2 year contract with
the possibility of renewal. Salary is negotiable depending upon the
candidate’s experience. Other terms and conditions will be
commensurate with those prevailing among similar development
organisations in India. Position
is based in Delhi but it is expected that 40 % of time will be spent
with partners in the field
