Partners in Change (PiC) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to
deepening and widening Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in India
through conceptualization, consulting and the promotion of best practice.
Established in 1995 and guided by its vision of “a world where the
quality of life of disadvantaged people, communities and environment is
recognized and practiced as an essential part of doing business”, PiC
with its headquarters in Delhi is well respected in India and
internationally.
Partners in Change (PiC) invites applications for the position of Project
Associate.
Project Associate will be
responsible to extend all support to senior team members and coordinate
all identified activities needed for the approved projects in different
states. Besides supporting to senior members the candidate (s) will have
to handle projects independently as per organization’s requirement.
Project Associate will be responsible for ensuring the timeline and
quality of planning, implementation and monitoring of all assigned
projects.
The position will be based
in Delhi. The job will involve travel to different state H.Q and
districts as and when necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
•
Coordinate with senior team member of the particular project for
undertaking activities laid out in the Project Implementation Plan (PIP)
document
•
Identify gaps through field visits in project areas, provide intervention
measures and monitoring data and propose with workable solutions in
consultation with senior team member
• Track
output level of activities as mentioned in the PIP Log Frame
•
Coordinate with agencies for facilitating training / orientation of
service providers
• Ensure
quality in training and other capacity building exercises through
appropriate mechanisms
•
Facilitate stakeholders consultation at different levels
• Ensure
quality of community mobilization activities through proper monitoring
•
Liaison with government functionaries of Corporate Affairs, Mining,
Education Health and Social Welfare departments• Liaison with other
stakeholders e.g. international donors, foundations, industry
associations, bilateral and multilateral organizations, and NGOs as
required.
• Ensure
timely submission of accurate documents to supervisor and other
concerned officials as per requirement
Terms of
appointment:
The
incumbent would be appointed for a period of 12 months as consultant,
with possibility of extension based on performance, continuity of program
and availability of funds.
Minimum
qualification, specialized knowledge and experience required:
A
Masters degree in social work/social science / public health / nutrition
/ communication
Minimum
2 years of experience in managing development projects/ CSR programs/
communication programme with NGO/ livelihood/ advocacy/ networking /
child rights issue, etc.
Fluency
in English and knowledge of Hindi are essential.
Excellent
writing
skills in English, and advanced computer and analytical skills are highly
required.
Remuneration:
Package
will commensurate with qualification, experiences and HR policies of
Partners in Change.
