Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for
preparation of a panel for the purpose of
making appointment as Principal Counsellors/Counsellors for the Family
Courts in Delhi. The candidates must possess the qualifications
as prescribed in Rule 11 of
the Delhi Family Courts Rules, 1996, which reads as under:-
"A person shall not be qualified for appointment as a
CounseIlor unless he possesses the following
qualifications, namely-
(i) Degree in Social Sciences as Social Welfare,
Sociology, Clinical Psychiatry,
Psychology/Philosophy preferably with a Degree in law.;
and
(ii) At least five years experience in field work
l research or of teaching in
a Government Department or in a College/University or a
comparable academic institute, with special
reference to problems of women and children;
OR
five years' experience in the examination and
l or application of
Central l
State Laws relating to marriage divorce,
maintenance, guardianship and adoption and
other family disputes."
The Principal Counsellor shall be paid Rs. 30,000/- per
month and the Counsellor shall be paid Rs.
25,000/- per month as consolidated fee. The appointment shall be made
initially for one year on contract basis and shall not confer
any right of regular appointment. The
appointment will be liable to be terminated at the discretion of the
High Court without assigning any reason. It is a full time
assignment and the appointee would not be
permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of his/her
engagement as Principal Counsellor/Counsellor.

secured etc.), (11) Experience/ Professional details, and (12)
Two references (names, addresses, contact
telephone numbers), along with a recent passport size photograph
attested by a Gazetted Officer and attested copies of certificates,
may be submitted personally in the
Establishment Branch, Delhi High COURT, or
sent by Registered AD post to the Registrar
General, Delhi High Court, Sher Shah Road, New Delhi-l 10003 so as to
reach Delhi High Court on or before
2.2.2011. Applications which are incomplete,
unsigned, not accompanied with attested copies of requisite certificates
or received after the due date, shall be
rejected summarily and no enquiry will be entertained in this
regard.
The shortlisted candidates will be called for an
interview on a date to be intimated later and
no TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates called for interview. The
selected candidates will be required to join
at short notice.
