PDCSL has been engaged by an UN Agency to provide Technical financial and human resource support to various programmes and operation in Bihar. In this regard, PDCSL invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Finance Manager for Project Office. 

Position- Finance Manager

Duty Station- Project Office (Bihar)

Job responsibilities 

·         Ensure appropriate financial management systems and controls mechanisms are in place to achieve client’s needs.

·         Ensure and promote cost efficiency and cost effectiveness.

·         Coordinate and collaborate within team members, vendors/external agencies and the professionals deployed on issues related to Finance.

·         Ensure books of accounts are maintained as per Financial Standards.

·         Monthly closing of financial accounts in accordance with defined procedures

·         Ensure financial controls and the technical accuracy of financial information/records.

·         Forecast financial requirement for each month and accordingly raise invoices.

·         Ensure provision of financial statements/reports as and when required.

·         Ensure availability of bank statements and prepare monthly bank reconciliation.

·         Contribute in developing the finance and administrative guidelines and ensure its dissemination and compliance.

·         Facilitate audit of accounts and address the audit recommendations related to administration and finance

·         Ensure and monitor timely payments to all field staff and vendors/external agencies.

·         Ensure compliance with all legal/ statutory requirements related to the rules and regulations.

·         Ensure certification of all payments.

·         Supervise the work of the accountants/finance assistants.

·         Perform any other task as required. 

Qualification and Experience:  

·         CA/ MBA finance or Post graduate diploma in Finance from reputed institute

·         At Least 3-5 years of experience in managing projects

·         Must have good understanding of accounting system, audits , budgeting and book keeping

·         Should be proficient in using computer software such as Tally, Excel, Access, Word and power point

·         Must have knowledge of Hindi and English.
